found this great christopher bettig poster on poppytalk a few days ago and can't stop opening it up from my inspiration folder to take a peek at it. i guess i keep wishing for it to suddenly appear on my wall, but unfortunately it's sold out! the drawing is so sweet... and of course, i am digging the type at the bottom as well. i think it completes it... (sigh) and (as if that wasn't enough)- it's green. can you say made for me?

happy st. paddy's day!
thought my blog could use a little green today! this pretty little print is from OhSmile. man, that would look good in my kitchen or anywhere in my house really...well friends, 'wedding season' has officially started! i am receiving quite a few orders for guestbooks... so if you need one anytime soon let me know now! you can always view past books at my other blog here. i should have a few new ones to post photos of soon. and there are some interesting, but beautiful, color schemes in some of my upcoming books... so exciting! i love it when i get to play around with color and design a little more than the usual :)

off to italy
jo is getting married on 08.08.2008 in italy. since she's having a rather large (peacock themed) wedding, she needed two books instead of just one. her books are a little larger than normal to accommodate larger photos on the inside...
i used a shimmery gold paper for the front panel... i love it because it changes colors depending on what light it's in.7.11.2008
pretty in pink
i used to hate pink. really hate it. there i said it! but this book has made me found a new appreciation for the color. paired with some lovely greens, pink can be very beautiful, but not overly feminine. and while i won't be out buying everything pink i can get my hands on... i will certainly be more open to it now thanks to orla :)
