baby ella | 4 weeks old

having not been around babies all that much growing up, i find myself in awe now days when introduced to a new little human being. so delicate. so fresh. (and sometimes so loud!)

i had the pleasure of attending the baby shower for ella a few months back, and happily agreed to take photos when she finally arrived. this little girl is much loved, let me tell you!

here are just a few of my favorites...

thanks for letting me take a few photos of your beautiful family!

the red book.

i know i don't post book photos very often, but that's usually because i'm in a rush to get them to fedex and on their way! i just happened to have a few at the office and thought it might be fun to photograph them with a (mostly) white background. wow, what a difference it makes.

i love these because you can see more of the flocked texture of the paper. it looks awesome in real life, but it's hard to convey that in a photo.

friday link love.
