love me some popups...

like many designers, i am having a hard time deciding on a design for our christmas card. of course, doug is asking why do we even need to send one out??? but i think it's a nice way to say 'just thinking of you' during the holidays. i have just about decided to skip the computer graphics this year and go with something simple and handcrafted. i have plenty of leftover decorative paper from my books, so why not? this card above is my first choice... the trees are so simple and don't require large bits of paper. (all photos/projects from martha)

this ribbon card is next in line. i also have tons of leftover ribbon that would be perfect for this project. hmm, reminds me of some other stationary that's sewn together... katie? perhaps you could use some of your leftover invitation material for some awesome xmas cards...

this is probably not something i would make more than a few of, but just had to throw it in the mix. but how awesome would it be to open up a card and see this? reminds me of the good ole college packaging days. am i the only one that misses playing with paper in class?

I hear ya! I can't ever decide. so i'm coping out and going the easy route by using the pine tree/monogram stamp from the wedding invites...it sorta fits. (and i need to simplify right now!)

(now to get them out before newyrs!)
